Privacy Policy — TimeToTime

TimeToTime (“the extension”) is designed with privacy as a priority. This policy explains exactly what data the extension handles.

What we store

The extension stores only your preferences, using Chrome’s storage.sync API:

• Interface language (language)
• Your base currency (baseCurrency)
• Your country (homeCountry)
• Your time zone (homeTimeZone)
• Which features are enabled (enabledFeatures)

This data is stored in your own browser profile and synced through your Google account by Chrome. We never receive, see, or store it on any server of ours.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information.
• We do not track your browsing history or the pages you visit.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or cookies.
• We do not read or transmit the content of the web pages you view. Price and time detection happens locally in your browser; the results never leave your device.

Third-party requests

To convert currencies, the extension fetches up-to-date exchange rates from the open-source currency-api, served via the jsDelivr CDN (with currency-api.pages.dev as a fallback).

• The only information sent in these requests is your chosen base currency code (for example, a request for usd.json).
• No personal data, page content, or browsing information is included.
• Responses are cached locally for 12 hours to minimize network requests.

Data usage

All data handling is limited to providing the extension’s single purpose: showing foreign prices and times converted into your own currency and time zone. Data is not used for any other purpose.
